solving heat equation using method of characteristics

I just realized that I am running out of time in solving some issues with solving heat equation using method of characteristics. I had kept it pending hoping that I will come across excellent learning material or somebody who can help out with mixed numbers, graphing function and inequalities. May be, I did not explore hard enough. But at the moment I am running out of time . It is simply difficult to get a first-class teacher to quickly educate me. It is beyond what I can give. And I need to find a immediate way out. Can anybody who has had similar problems let me know as to what I can do? It will be a big help.

Hey there! I used Algebrator last year when I was having issues with my college math. This program made solving problems so easy. Since then, I always keep a copy of it on my computer .
