I am going to high school now. As math has always been my problem area , I purchased the course material in advance. I am plan studying a handful of topics before the classes begin . Any kind of pointers would be much appreciated that could help me to start studying adding + subtracting integers + 6th grade myself.

You haven’t given any details about the problem that is troubling you. I would like to help you with adding + subtracting integers + 6th grade as it was my favorite topic in math. I also recommend using a really brilliant product called Algebrator. This is the best that I have encountered to help math students. But make sure you use it to learn the subject and not just to copy and submit your homework.

I fully agree with that. It truly is a great program. Algebrator helped me and my peers a lot during our exam time. We went on to get a better grade than we could ever have thought of. It explains things in a lot more detailed manner, than a instructor ever could, in a class. Moreover, you can read one solution again and again till you actually understand it, unlike in a classroom where the teacher has to move on due to time constraints. Go ahead and try it.

I remember having difficulties with graphing, graphing equations and simplifying fractions. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Basic Math, Basic Math and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
