writing a quadratic equation in standard form

I think God would have been in a really bad mood that he came up with something called algebra to trouble us! I’ve spent hours working on this math problem which relates to writing a quadratic equation in standard form and I still can’t solve it. I’m particularly stuck on midpoint of a line, binomials and multiplying fractions. Can anyone throw some light on how to go about solving such problems? I’ve tried various means that I could think of, but none helped. I need some urgent guidance now. Anybody?

Due to health reasons you might have missed a few lectures at school, but what if I can you can simulate your classroom, in your house ? In fact, right on the computer that you are working on? Each one of us has missed some lectures at some point or the other during our life, but thanks to Algebrator I’ve never missed much. Just like an instructor would explain in the class, Algebrator solves our problems and gives us a detailed description of how it was solved . I used it basically to get some help on writing a quadratic equation in standard form and leading coefficient. But it works well for just about everything you can think of .

Algebrator is a beneficial tool . I have used it a lot. I tried solving the problems myself, at least once before using the software. If I couldn’t solve the question then I used the software to give me the solution. I then used to compare both the answers and correct my errors .

I remember having problems with trigonometric functions, linear equations and logarithms. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Intermediate algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

Thanks for the detailed information , this sounds awesome. I wished for something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a software which only solves the exercise and shows the final result, I want something that can really show me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can understand it and after that solve it without any help , not just copy the answers . Where can I find the program ?
