how to solve fourth degree equations

Hi! We just started tackling a new lesson in algebra regarding how to solve fourth degree equations and I did pretty good for most homeworks we had but the latest one my teacher gave hard so I'd appreciate if somebody would help me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my math professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried answering it but to no avail . I can’t answer it easily unlike the other assignments. I had an easy time doing my past homeworks but this particular assignment with specific topic of side-angle-side similarity just gives me a hard time just figuring out how to start . I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if someone help me in showing the steps and how to answer it in a organized and clear way.

Hey. I assume I can lend you a hand . Can you explain some more on what your troubles are? What specifically are your problems with how to solve fourth degree equations? Getting a excellent teacher would have been the finest thing. But do not be bothered. I think there is a way out . I have come across a number of algebra software programs. I have tried them out myself. They are pretty smart and first class . These might just be what you need. They also do not cost a lot. I feel what would suit you just fine is Algebrator. Why not try this out? It could be just be the answer for your problems .

I remember having problems with graphing equations, like denominators and absolute values. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
