You might want to check out Algebrator. I bought it some time back to help me with my Algebra 1 course and I can say that it was a good choice . There are so many examples provided which you can browse through. You can also try out the questions related to proportions and unlike denominators by just typing them in. Algebrator provides complete description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts very clear. I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

Algebrator has helped students all over the world . It is a very wise piece of software and I would recommend it to every student who has problems with their homework.

I remember having difficulties with adding numerators, simplifying fractions and algebraic signs. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Pre Algebra, Pre Algebra and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
