what is a variable in math terms

Can anybody help me? I have an algebra test coming up next week and I am completely confused. I need some help mainly with some problems in what is a variable in math terms that are quite confusing . I don’t want to go to any tutorial and I would really appreciate any help in this area. Thanks!

I know how hard it can be if you are not getting anywhere with what is a variable in math terms. It’s a bit hard to assist without more details of your requirements. But if you rather not get a tutor, then why not just use some program and how you go . There are so many programs out there, but one you should consider would be Algebrator. It is pretty useful plus it is worth the money.

I fully agree with what was just said . Algebrator has always come to my rescue, be it a homework or be it my preparation for the final exams, Algebrator has always helped me do well in algebra. It particularly helped me on topics like hypotenuse-leg similarity, least common denominator and factoring. I would highly recommend this software.

I remember having problems with roots, y-intercept and linear equations. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, Pre Algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
