Hi math lovers , I heard that there are various software that can help with us studying ,like a teacher substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can assist me with algebra ? I have never tried one until now, but they are probably not hard to use I think . If anyone has such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Remedial Algebra now, so I've been studying things like teaching slope and it's not easy at all.

First of all, let me welcome you to the universe of teaching slope. You need not worry; this subject seems to be tough because of the many new symbols that it has. Once you learn the basics, it becomes fun. Algebrator is the most liked tool amongst novice and experts. You must buy yourself a copy if you are serious at learning this subject.

I agree , a good software can do miracles . I used a few but Algebrator is the best . It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in College Algebra and Intermediate algebra too, so you don't have to be concerned that it's not on your level. If you never had a program before I can assure you it's very easy , you don't have to know much about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the software solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

Friends , Thanks a lot for the guidance that you have offered. I just had a look at the Algebrator available at: The best part that I liked was the pay back guarantee that they are offering there. I went ahead and bought Algebrator. It is really easy to handle and proves to be a remarkable tool for Algebra 2.
