Hello all, I have a very important test coming up in math soon and I would greatly appreciate if any of you can help me solve some questions in rules for fractions. I am quite good in math otherwise but problems in binomials baffle me and I am at a loss. It would be wonderful if you can let me know of a reasonably priced software that I can use?

What exactly don't you understand about rules for fractions? I recall having problem with the same thing in Algebra 1, so I might be able to give you some ideas on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should buy Algebrator, that's what I did in my Algebra 2, and I have to say it's the greatest ! It's much cheaper than a private teacher and you can count on it anytime you want . It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever used a similar program. I would advise you to get it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebrator. This is not exactly a tutoring tool but it provides solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this software product is that it is very user friendly. There are a lot of demos given under various topics which are quite helpful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.

This one is actually quite different. I am recommending it only after using it myself. You can find the information about the software at http://www.mathinput.com/course-elementary-algebra.html.

I remember having often faced difficulties with equation properties, linear equations and hypotenuse-leg similarity. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Basic Math, Basic Math and Algebra 1. I greatly recommend the program.
